Kilometer 30 126: on otters, waterfalls and silkworms in Dalat

Our rented motorbike took us as far as two kilometers after Dalat, where we found shelter to wait through the sky malfunction. While having the best coffee in the world served half and half with condensed milk, we observed the first waterfall of the day, a stream rambling from the roof onto the concrete. We will soon find out that the chocolate aroma of the beautiful, velvet coffee brew is derived from grains processed by otters.

The precipitation decided to calm down slightly, so having purchased stylish heart-patterned raincoats, off we went. Pushed by our hearty sails, we meandered the mountain trails generously sprinkled with brooklets and streams, passed coffee plantations (paired with otter farms) and sunflower fields, reached a visitable silk factory, crossed the woods to get to the waterfalls.
